As an architect, I love to design custom homes that people love to live in. It is important to us that you get a home that works with your daily routines, your changing family, and your favorite activities. We have worked in the Austin and Hill Country area for over 20 years, and know the ins and outs of creating a dream home, whether it is a new house or a renovation of your current home, whether large or small.
We can help you make the best green building decisions for your site and house, from solar panels to rainwater collection to LED lighting to truly enviro nmentally safe materials. If you are concerned about the environment but don’t really know all the issues in green building, or even if you are aware of the questions but want some objective answers, talk to us. Our homes in the Austin Mueller development have been cited in the City of Austin’s Green Building publications and one was featured in the Cool Homes Tour of 2009.
New homes and remodeled homes need different kinds of designs. New houses can incorporate your own style and finishe s, and still fit in to the neighborhood. Remodeled houses can be fantastic when the neighbors can’t tell the old part from the new addition looking from the outside, while the inside has the latest in technology—one of our specialties.
The Austin McMansion Ordinance has specific requirements that we are ready to design to. If you live in the zone affected by this ordinance we can explain all of the rules that affect your home site.
We know how to make a home accessible to everyone, and work within the Federal Handicapped Accessibilities Act to help you make your home livable and accessible.
Most of all we talk to you before we do anything else and find out what you want out of your home. We don’t force our designs on you, and we don’t use stock plans—we make your home truly customized to your needs.
